my car is 7 months old and today the engine wouldn't start, and all the warning lights came on. I tend to drive it everyday and mostly short trips with the occasional longish trip of 40 miles twice a month. Not sure why it wouldn't start today.

Petrol or diesel? Modern diesels with a DPF don't like lots of short runs, the DPF gets clogged, they need a regular blast out at high revs. Mick from Portugal

Why is there water on floor of garage overnight? New car 22 miles

Answers

Two or three possibilities. (1) You have a coolant leak in your engine; check coolant level. (2) Condensation from the exhaust pipe at the rear of the vehicle, perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. (3) Condensation from the air conditioning system which dries out the incoming air. The condensed moisture drains away from the air-con through a drain hose usually situated below the bulkhead. Again, nothing to worry about., Hugh from City of Glasgow

Driving my 2015 108 yesterday, as I was pulling away from lights engine warning light came on and went into limp mode. The car wouldn't accelerate above 2000 revs and I could only get it up to about 10 mph max. Very jumpy so had to leave at the side of the road. Does anybody have any ideas what the problem may be please. Thanks

I have a 108 GT line only picked it up yesterday. Nice little car perfect fir her needs. It has a very loud annoying audible alarm that keeps going off. It's not the lane alert as I can make this go off to test and it's a different sound. Very loud and annoying. I don't think it's the active braking as it went off earlier whist going around a roundabout. Any ideas please ???

At or near 40 mph in 4th gear a whirring noise appears intermittently, lifting of the throttle at this speed and the noise disappears straight away, gentle touch the throttle and the noise comes back at that instant. The noise does not sound mechanical but more electrical. The car is 1.2 L and new, so it is going back to the dealership for evaluation of the problem.

Have only had this car ( from new) for 5 weeks. It has just started to develop a very loud banging noise , sounding like it is coming from the rear passenger door area. The noise is intermittent and has occurred when the car is travelling at speed, the banging is very loud, sometimes a single noise, sometimes like a rat tat tat ( like someone is trying to get in!!!) . Spare wheel is secure, nothing hanging down from underneath. Waiting for Peugeot to take a look. Anyone have any clues what it could be?
