Hi. My air conditioning suddenly stopped working. When I press the switch, it lights up and the blower changes speed but the compressor clutch doesn't engage nor does the radiator fan. Does anybody know what the fault might be please? I have been trying to locate a fuse and relay switch for the A/C to no avail. Thanks in advance.

My display unit cuts out and goes black every 2-3 minutes, after about 20 seconds it activates and sets to a radio station and displays "Check in Progress", when I hit the back button it synchronises the phone and displays as normal again, for 2-3 minutes. If I am on the phone it cuts out if I try to use the GPS there is no map in it now. Has anyone had this problem? Extremely frustrating and the part I have been told I need is a few thousand Aussie dollars.

Help me please, I have a problem... My 508 Peugeot's radio screen stopped working after the last call via bluetooth, when the call was finished, on screan appears a question - do I want to save all files. I pressed YES. After that I could make other calls using by car's calls system. Other couple of times when I started a car, the screen works but, turned on little bit slower. And in the end it not turned on anymore. Now screen is not working, and all the time making sounds like want to play CD but can't do that. I tried to put CD in, but after few seconds bringing back and not playing. Screen is all black and not working. What should I do??

When driving the warning light 'Diesel Particle Filter in danger of clogging up' comes in normally on the motorway when driving plus 70mph. SERVICE warning light also comes on then first the 'Diesel Particle Filter in danger of clogging up'disappears and then the SERVICE warning light. This happens without warning and normally for about 10 times and I can normally make it stop by slowing down. This started happening when the Diesel Particle Filter was replaced after 110,000 miles and has not stopped even though the dealer as replaced filter 5 times. They can not find out why it is happening - there is no loss of power Help

Answers

To regenerate the filter, the vehicle should be driven as soon as possible, at a speed of at least 40 mph and an engine speed of over 2,000 rpm for about fifteen minutes (until the warning lamp and / or message disappear). If, possible avoid switching off the engine before the light and message have disappeared. If this action is not carried out, the Diesel Particulate Filter will start to block up and this could result in the need to replace the filter. This process is recommended by PEUGEOT. Picked up my new 508sw a week ago after two years of faultless driving with my old one. Very disappointed that I cannot receive TA from local BBC stations when listening to other sources ie commercial/national radio. The radio will not override with TA transmissions or update channels when travelling around the country. Dealer states..... " This is an ongoing problem which Peugeot are trying to address. We have customers who have been waiting a year for an answer"...... Dealer failed to tell me this when I bought the vehicle. Anyone else experiencing this? or have a solution?

My start button is not responding at all. It`s showing a message like : move the steering wheel to the left and right to make unlock easier, so I did try several times while pressing the start button and without pressing the button but no response. Knowing that the gear box is blocked and stuck on the" P" position, the steering wheel is not locked (I can move it till the end to the left and right while it is supposed to be locked)?

I recently purchased a late 2011 build 508 Touring (2lt diesel 6 speed auto) in Allure spec. I didn't notice until the drive home that there was no gear indicator in the orange LCD screen in the main instrument cluster. The manual shows the display split into 3 sections - main part for the various information functions, top left for the cruise control and speed limiter info, and top right for the gear selector information I.e P R N D and what particular gear you're in. My display is only divided into two parts, top and bottom and I only get the cruise and speed limiter showing in the top line. Is this right? Or is this a fault? Dealer just said there were different models shown in the manual yada yada but I need a second opinion. To me it doesn't seem logical to have a car with manual gear selection where you have no idea what gear you're in. Also no way of knowing if sport or snow mode is engaged. Can anyone shed any light on this for me! Thanks!

Hi all. I’m in such a mess and no time! At this moment I own a Peugeot 508 saloon 12 plate bought 3 months ago. (I do taxi work for special needs). I`ve just been offered a contract for 24 months but need to take 7 boxes daily H 53cm x W 33cm x D 26cm and I guess they won’t fit. The dealership as a matter of urgency has offered me a straight swap for a 12 plate Peugeot 308 1.6hdi SW Access. My questions is could I get my boxes in the 308 SW? Is it an okay swap? Any advice would help. Thank you.
