A Mitsubishi L200 question from Jude

My name is Jude. I manage a fleet of about 300 units of MIT L200 2x4 new pick ups.Getting to years by August 2017.I have been having engine knocks for like 8 vans. What could be the possible cause of this knocking.

Answer(s)

Injector seals are known to be problematic, when they leak they give a knock or sound like pressure leaking from inside the cylinder. If so the seals need recut and new copper sealing washers fitted. Also check the crankshaft pulley on each affected vehicle for wear / delamination and breaking up. Hugh from City of Glasgow
